Quality Engineer
Ensuring Chart s Success
The Quality Engineer will partner with manufacturing to increase plant efficiencies and meet, or exceed, goals related to quality and production. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading a team indirectly and effectively communicating information to employees, customers and management.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be
- Manage quality documentation, including NCRs, NDE Procedures, and ITPs
- Maintain the site Quality Manual
- Maintain and monitor ASME Certification
- Administer and update process procedures
- Lead and organize coordination of inspectors
Your Education Should Be
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require
- Sitting, standing and stooping
- Walking on production floor
- Abiltiy to inspect equipment
- LIfting of up to 30 pounds
- Working outdoors and/or in high heat
Your Professional Experience Should Be
1-4 years of manufacturing quality experience
