Volt is immediately hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager to support a key client, located in Beasley, TX.


As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for product/process integrity - monitoring and inspecting products to assure they meet expectations and acting upon non-conformities. You will ensure that evaluation methods are current, necessary, and effective. In addition, you will:


  • Be responsible for the execution of, and improvements to, the CSC Quality Management System; this includes responsibility for all operating procedures, internal/external audits, training, and record keeping.
  • Expert knowledge of lean, process improvement and quality management tools.
  • Organize, prioritize, and execute manufacturing activities, including process and cleaning validation.
  • Develop and execute/coordinate execution of protocols to support manufacturing process development and manufacturing equipment trials.
  • Lead projects such as new equipment design and procurement, technology transfer, process design and optimization, scale-up activities, and process and cleaning validations.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 5
    years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering or supply chain environment, preferably with line management experience (team lead/group lead).
  • 3
    years of experience coaching, deploying and applying lean in a manufacturing and/or logistics environment.
  • Experience with quality assurance, ISO, LEAN, SPC, and 5-why techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of validation principles including commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQs, process validation, cleaning validation, and computer related systems validation.
  • Customer focused mindset.
  • Hands-on shop floor experience.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in teams.
  • Experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Salary:
$100,000- $120,000 per year
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
